The Isle of Bute is situated on the Clyde Estuary which is brushed by the Gulf Stream and known as the Madeira of the Clyde.
It's only a half hour sail from Wemyss Bay which is approximately 35 miles South West of Glasgow. Alternatively you can take the leisurely and very scenic route from Glasgow to Colintraive with only a 5 minute ferry crossing.
Bute hosts 3 Golf courses, has lovely secluded sandy beaches with guaranteed peace & tranquility . There are numerous walks, drives and places of historic interest to view.
